We are a a Christian church.
At its core, what does Equippers Church believe?
Equippers Church believes that God loves mankind and because of His love, He gave His Son, Jesus, to take the penalty for mankind’s sins and die in our place. Because of His substitutionary sacrificial death, all who believe upon Him and confess Him as Lord are born again and can then lead godly impactful lives that can cause others to desire what they have.

What happens during a typical service?
Services begin with spirit led worship, followed by Challenging Spirit-Led and Inspired teaching of the Word of God. Connection, fellowship and community.
What is the difference between your church and other churches?
We focus upon God’s provision of salvation for mankind through Jesus Christ. We believe good works do not lead to salvation but are the result of it. Many other churches share these beliefs.
Can I attend if I’ve never been to church before?
Yes. First time visitors are welcome.

All denominations are welcome.
What should I expect when attending church for the first time?
You should expect to experience warm fellowship from friendly people, engaging and spirit-led worship, and teaching and preaching that speaks to you in your life today.
How do I know if a church is right for me?
If you feel that the teaching t hat you re listening to is God speaking to you. If it is answering internal questions and if it is drawing you closer to God.

You can park in the east parking lot of the Romeoville Recreation Center.
What is the dress code?
Come as you are.
What if I haven’t been to church in a long time?
Just come on in and listen, learn, and observe. Allow the people and the Spirit of God to connect with you.
What if I’m nervous or anxious about attending church?
That’s OK! We hope you’ll still decide to come to our services. Christians are some of the warmest and friendliest people in the world, and our utmost desire is to connect with people new to the Church.
